Position: Product Manager 2 – Merchandising Price Management

Overview

The Product Manager 2 is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, championing the customer experience evolution through data‑driven insights using a variety of qualitative and quantitative inputs. They support key pricing capabilities, functionality, and programs across Nordstrom, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive the strategic vision of a workstream in support of business goals
  • Measure and monitor key KPI performance for product epics and specific features
  • Define, measure, and monitor KPIs, objectives, and key results
  • Drive projects forward with a sense of urgency, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality products
  • Balance technical feasibility with user experience to deliver products that delight customers
  • Prioritize features and develop quarterly priorities and annual backlog
  • Advocate for the development of simple, user‑friendly solutions that address complex business challenges
  • Partner with UX, Program Management, and Engineering on feature design
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and interoperability between systems
  • Mentor junior Product Managers within the organization
Qualifications
  • 5+ years product management or equivalent experience with a technology or e‑commerce company preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, finance, economics, or a related quantitative discipline (preferred)
  • Ability to define, measure, and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Technical background and understanding of software development principles
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Analytics, Engineering, and User Experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a talent for storytelling to effectively convey complex ideas and inspire action across diverse audiences
