ResponsibilitiesThe Compliance Manager/Business Partner will drive the compliance review, build compliance business strategy and roadmap for Tik Tok Shop, support the XFN teams to establish compliance solutions and assist management to fully understand risk level and make decisions on actionable mitigation plans.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements from the targeted countries, legislative changes, etc., and be capable of doing proactive analyses on e-commerce platform compliance systematically;
- Responsible for building compliance product strategy and roadmap for Tik Tok Shop;
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders from business teams, data security teams, and global legal teams to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks, to implement risk and compliance solutions, and to respond to user escalations;
- Lead compliance-related project management throughout product lifecycle, managing cross-functional efforts including business development, product design, engineering and go-to-market;
- Lead internal communications about compliance strategy, ensure implementation and resolving blocking issues;
- Be familiar with the regulation and governance of e-commerce platforms, train business departments on key compliance issues, promote e-commerce eco-development, and improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or higher, with a minimum of 3 years working experience.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, particularly implemented in a cross-functional and global role and experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated, deep-dive, leadership and excellent organizational skill.
- Strong logical thinking and analytical skill.
- Proactive, patient and meticulous, with a strong sense of ownership and teamwork.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and/or privacy related compliance issues, business analytics, and making data-driven decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working experience related to e-commerce, product, consulting/advisory, and/or data security and privacy compliance, product management or product counseling experience is preferred.
Compensation Description (Annually):
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115520 - $209380 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
