The RoleThe Global Distribution Planning & Operations team is looking for a sharp, analytically driven Analyst to support strategic planning and operational execution for Salesforce’s sales organization. WhatYou’ll Do
- Own headcount management for Global Distribution end‑to‑end—partnering cross‑functionally to ensure headcount is tracked accurately, managed efficiently, and aligned to the workforce plan.
- Build and maintain concurrent reporting models that surface trends, flag risks, and deliver actionable insights to business leaders.
- Serve as a key liaison with Sales Leadership, ES, Recruiting, Commissions, and Finance on all things headcount—tracking, planning, and reporting.
- Ensure data integrity across systems, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies in partnership with relevant teams.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve existing processes and models, driving greater efficiency across the team.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, or Finance—business analysis and data‑driven insights core to the work.
- Advanced Excel skills; ability to build a clear narrative in PowerPoint; working knowledge of databases; and a path to full Tableau proficiency.
- Experience with Workday, Anaplan, or similar ERP/planning systems is a strong plus.
- A track record of owning complex work end‑to‑end—from planning and execution through to audit and recommendation.
- Strong instincts for data—comfortable questioning what you see, digging into the details, and translating findings into something the business can act on.
- Clear, confident communicator—both written and verbal—with comfort presenting to executive audiences.
- Collaborative by nature, with the ability to manage competing priorities and shift gears quickly in a dynamic environment.
- High integrity when it comes to handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Aligned to Salesforce’s core values: trust, customer success, innovation, equality, and sustainability.
