Overview
AWS is seeking a Public Sector Enablement Lead to deliver tools, training, coaching, processes, and other enablement programs that equip AWS teams to better serve public sector customers and grow the business. The role includes designing project plans to accelerate initiatives and tactically implementing each program individually or in concert with cross‑functional team members.
Key Responsibilities- Create, execute, manage, and support role‑based sales and tech learning sessions for new and existing account teams.
- Plan, facilitate, scale, and support onboarding, ongoing training, tools training, and account planning to improve sales productivity.
- Develop a project plan and communication strategy for each initiative, owning end‑to‑end progress against targeted objectives.
- Develop, scale, and support enablement activities throughout the year, identifying gaps and designing projects to meet business requirements.
- Curate cross‑functional enablement resources for industry sales and tech teams, leveraging existing resources for program implementation.
- Perform detailed needs assessments with stakeholders, translating business needs into clear project requirements.
- Identify project roadblocks, conduct root‑cause analysis, and manage resolution and stakeholder communications.
- Implement metrics to measure impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility of programs and report on enablement investments through dashboards.
- Maintain scheduled deadlines, detailed training and initiative status reports, and introduce processes to optimize project management.
- Support ad hoc special projects as needed.
- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, or equivalent.
- Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership.
