The Product Management team in F5 Digital is responsible for creating and driving the strategy for how we serve vital functions within F5, such as sales, marketing, finance, legal and HR. The mission of Digital is to create a more responsive, nimble and agile F5, supporting internal and external customer needs. As Product Manager, you will bring both thought leadership for your area and stakeholder management skills.
You will work collaboratively, driving strategic alignment across the organization, and have the ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external audiences. You will develop roadmaps and requirements using a balance of future vision, near‑term opportunities, user requirements, business insight, and management of day‑to‑day product issues. The position is dynamic, and you should be comfortable with ambiguity, a fast‑pace and frequent context switching.
Areas of assignment are flexible to accommodate evolving business needs.
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for F5 Order to Cash team. Align our product goals with F5’s broader business objectives. Ensure the platform delivers exceptional user experiences, scalability, and reliability. Serve as subject matter expert for SaaS, perpetual and cloud‑based solutions.
- Craft a coherent plan for our Order to Cash business process based on user discovery, data and financial analysis, stakeholder discussions, F5 business dynamics and industry trends.
- Evangelize and gain alignment on your vision and roadmap with senior stakeholders across the company – up to and including the EVP level – and manage their expectations with clear, consistent communication.
- Collaboration with business stakeholders building strategies with clarity and providing innovative ideas and solutions to core business and customer needs.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand‑ups, and feature kick‑offs, fostering collaboration across engineering, program management and business teams to deliver frequent releases.
- Rally portfolio management and delivery teams around clear, stable priorities focused on product goals and user needs, driving timely trade‑off decisions when needed.
- Build business cases for requested initiatives, articulating quantifiable business outcomes and return on investment and success metrics.
- Focus your team’s efforts on driving concrete business benefit – ensuring user experience is solid, driving successful adoption of solutions with end users, and tracking usage and performance to gauge business impact.
- Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Background in Product Offerings for SaaS, Term Subscriptions and Perpetual HW/SW solutions.
- Strong background working on Oracle EBS CRM/ERP modules – Oracle EBS Order Management & account receivables.
- Strong background working on Oracle Fusion CRM/ERP modules – Oracle Fusion Subscription management & Revenue Management.
- Experience leading at least 2 end‑to‑end Oracle Order to Cash implementation programs.
- Extensive experience as a product manager in an Agile development environment.
- Proven ability to execute upon a coherent product strategy for a complex or highly technical functional area.
- Track record of crafting and driving product results, ideally for products with high visibility and/or significant financial impact.
