The MLDP offers graduate students the chance to launch into a leadership path through a summer internship focused on vendor management. You will gain hands‑on experience in P&L ownership, strategic business management, and cross‑functional collaboration.

The internship is the first year of a structured three‑year leadership development journey, starting with a one‑year rotation as Senior Vendor Manager, followed by Senior Product Manager and Senior Supply Chain Manager.

• Develop and optimize strategic vendor relationships that enhance product selection and customer experience.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to identify revenue‑generating opportunities.
• Leverage market insights to drive customer‑focused improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop innovative business solutions.
• Analyze complex market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.

• Strategic rotations across Vendor Management, Product Management, and Supply Chain.

• Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets through vendor negotiations.
• Use customer needs knowledge to advocate for and drive improvements that enhance the shopping experience.
• Build vendor/brand relationships and act as the primary point of contact for vendor selection, onboarding, escalations, and negotiations.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of industry, business trends, and competitor developments.
• Maximize Amazon’s business and financial profitability through selection optimization and expansion opportunities.
• Coordinate across cross‑functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders while meeting tight deadlines.
