Overview
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Executive Briefing Program (EBC) is seeking a Briefing Program Manager to plan high value executive briefings to our customers in our Executive Briefing Center in Seattle, WA. The Briefing Program Manager is responsible for the overall success of onsite executive briefings, including managing planning processes, timelines, stakeholder expectations and communications, executive engagement, and the successful execution of briefings.
The role partners with internal stakeholders to provide strategic consultation during the briefing planning process and develops bespoke briefing agendas that align with customer business objectives to drive adoption of AWS services. You will work with account executives and business leaders from across AWS to review EBC metrics, identify gaps in content offerings, and educate stakeholders on the value of the program.
The position is based in Seattle, WA with relocation assistance offered from within the U.S.
Key job responsibilities and qualifications are described below.
Key responsibilities- Manage end-to-end briefing planning process for executive briefings hosted in the Seattle, WA Executive Briefing Center
- Develop briefing agendas and facilitate experiences that connect AWS executive leaders, technical subject matter experts, and customers
- Create mechanisms and drive efficiencies to deliver briefings at scale
- Build key relationships to drive the successful delivery of a streamlined experience to internal stakeholders and customers
- Work with sales, marketing, and technical communities to develop enablement materials for AWS sales teams to promote program value and adoption
- Improve, and in some cases, develop standard operating procedures
- Utilize exceptional communication skills to manage leadership reviews, team meetings, and post briefing debriefs
- Identify opportunities to continually raise the bar for stakeholders by driving YoY process improvements
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks
