Product Manager, Seller Listing Risk - TikTok Shop

Responsibilities

• Develop metrics to measure success of product features, analyze results, and partner across the organization to develop action plans and enhancement recommendations.
• Independently design and implement product solutions to ensure listing safety and quality and provide a smooth listing experience to sellers as well as ensure quality and authenticity of listings on the platform.
• Design listing checkpoints and velocities to proactively mitigate risks, and develop listing approval enhancements.
• Provide insights on product performance and customer behavior, identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities and improvements, defining product requirements for new features and coordinating development efforts as the product owner.
• Work closely with the modeling team to develop and implement strategies, define thresholds for precision, recall and overkill for model deployment; optimize products and features to increase automation, reduce error, and manual review and moderation.
• Define and drive product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with cross‑vertical and cross‑functional teams.
• Manage prioritization and balance trade‑offs among seller experience, user experience and creator experience within the e‑commerce ecosystem.

• Minimum 3+ years of product management experience in Consumer‑Facing mobile or web Internet companies.
• Broad technical knowledge and in‑depth understanding of Machine Learning, statistical modeling, algorithms, OCR and ASR.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, and driving innovation on behalf of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to evaluate assumptions, make recommendations and decisions, and drive execution.
• Ability to thrive in a cross‑functional environment while balancing multiple responsibilities, scoping projects, evaluating priorities, and effectively working within a team.
• Preferred:
  Understanding and passion for e‑commerce and retail; knowledge of user‑generated content platforms and LIVE streaming.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Flexible and experienced in project management, able to lead and operate multiple project streams confidently.

The base salary range for this role in the selected city is $176,320 - $296,020 annually. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses, restricted stock units, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid parental leave, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, paid holidays, sick days, and paid personal time.
