Fund Formation Associate (2–6 years) | VC and Growth Equity Sponsors | AmLaw 100 Our AmLaw 100 client is adding to its fund services team advising venture capital and growth equity sponsors in the U.S. and internationally. This group sits close to the market and works across the full fund life cycle, with a platform that is consistently recognized for venture and growth work.
Role
Summary:
Sponsor-side structuring, formation, and ongoing operation of investment funds. Fund documentation, negotiations with LPs, and day-to-day fund counseling through launch and beyond. Exposure to a steady pipeline of institutional-quality fund raises across venture and growth strategies. Experience with fund investment activities is a plus.
Candidate Profile: 2–6 years of fund formation experience with sponsors (venture, growth, private equity, or adjacent strategies). Training from a national or international law firm. Strong drafting, client judgment, and the ability to run work streams without hand-holding. Superior academics and polished communication skills.
