We are seeking an experienced, data‑driven, systems‑oriented Capacity Manager to lead and optimize our end‑to‑end planning and throughput strategy. This role is responsible for defining and maintaining gearing ratios, leading capacity forecasting efforts, and driving cross‑functional alignment to ensure operational scalability. The ideal candidate has a background with demonstrated proficiency in advanced mathematics and/or statistics. They are comfortable creating strategic recommendations in a thoughtful yet concise manner and obtain organizational buy‑in at senior levels.

You will be at the center of how work is balanced across the SPC org, using your expertise to ensure that inputs across stakeholder teams and constraints are accurately reflected in planning models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the capacity planning process end‑to‑end, from intake to execution readiness, including weekly and quarterly headcount planning across multiple work streams and geographies
  • Build short/long term operational plans for different global sites to optimize variable costs associated with staffing
  • Define and maintain gearing ratios to align staffing and throughput capacity across dependent teams
  • Build and operationalize planning mechanisms to proactively address seasonality initiatives, high‑level policy changes and volume variability
  • Partner with stakeholders to model throughput scenarios and identify bottlenecks, leveraging historical data and forecasted inputs
  • Develop and manage dashboards and reporting tools to monitor capacity utilization and SLA adherence
  • Lead regular capacity reviews with stakeholders, identifying gaps between forecasted demand and available bandwidth
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to shorten planning SLAs and increase process automation
  • Collaborate with Finance and Program stakeholders to align labor and budget assumptions for near‑ and long‑range planning
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Knowledge of general AI tools
  • Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large‑scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions
