Position

International Trade Compliance Analyst (Level
2) / Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst (Level
3) – Plymouth, MN or Mesa, AZ. Report to Manager of International Trade Compliance (ITC) of Armament Systems Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with functional areas to determine export/import needs, develop and implement strategies that meet business requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and submit necessary export/import authorization requests for international programs.
  • Review and approve international travel requests, foreign visit requests, and export/import transactions.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of ITAR and EAR regulations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing trade compliance policies, internal control plans for approved authorizations.
  • Manage post‑approval activities: recordkeeping, reporting, approvals for data exports and shipping authorizations.
  • Perform compliance assessments of license and agreement files, assist in investigations of potential violations.
  • Support corrective actions resulting from compliance violations.
  • Prepare and deliver internal control plans and review reports to programs.
  • Conduct export/import training and provide communication to internal and external customers.
  • Assist in reviewing export/import clauses in new business contracts and provide recommendations.
  • Review program contractual statements of work to develop work scope for export/import authorizations.
  • Deliver formal presentations, respond to questions from management, employees, customers, vendors.
  • Negotiate export/import control issues with customers and resolve issues collaboratively.
Basic Qualifications International Trade Compliance Analyst (Level
2)
  • High School Diploma or GED with minimum 7 years relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years experience; or Master’s degree with minimum 1 year experience.
  • Knowledge of ITAR and EAR.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Must be able to work on‑site in Plymouth, MN or Mesa, AZ.
Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst (Level
3)
  • High School Diploma or GED with minimum 10 years relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 years experience; or Master’s degree with minimum 4 years experience.
  • Knowledge of ITAR and EAR.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Must be able to work on‑site in Plymouth, MN or Mesa, AZ.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
  • Aerospace or Defense Industry Experience.
  • Experience assessing applicability of ITAR exemptions and EAR exceptions.
  • Proficiency with OCR EASE Software.
  • Experience providing training in person or virtually.
  • Strong prioritization and organization of workload.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with teams.
  • Strong collaboration and team building skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Strong commitment to integrity and professionalism.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $62,200 – $103,200 (Level
2); $76,600 – $127,000 (Level
3). Potential discretionary bonus, annual bonuses, long‑term incentives for higher levels. Health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays, paid time off.
