MEP Engineering Manager

Insight Global is seeking a MEP Manager for a HVAC and piping industry client. This individual will play a key leadership role within the Manufacturing Group, overseeing complex industrial projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments, excels at cross‑functional coordination, and brings a strong focus on safety, quality, and execution. Must‑Haves:

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in HVAC, piping, or industrial/manufacturing environments
• Proven experience managing complex, large‑scale industrial or manufacturing projects
• Strong leadership experience overseeing cross‑functional teams
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, procurement, and construction functions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat and Bluebeam Revu
• Strong ability to identify and resolve design coordination challenges
• High attention to detail with a focus on minimizing errors and mitigating project risk
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented mindset

Day‑to‑Day:

• Lead and manage large‑scale manufacturing and industrial projects from initiation through closeout
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget
• Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and construction teams
• Partner with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders
• Identify design conflicts and drive resolution to avoid downstream issues
• Monitor project schedules, costs, and risk mitigation plans
• Drive accountability and execution across project teams
• Maintain clear documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
