• Analyze consumer demand trends and identify key product categories, brands, and price segments with strong growth potential on Tik Tok Shop.
• Develop product assortment strategies that strengthen platform supply and ensure products align with market demand.
• Partner with merchant strategy teams and industry teams to guide supply development in priority product categories.
• Support major campaigns and marketing initiatives by identifying high potential products and category opportunities.
• Conduct data driven analysis to identify supply gaps and propose targeted initiatives to strengthen product availability and competitiveness.
• Monitor product performance and market trends, and continuously refine assortment strategies to support sustainable growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled student pursuing a bachelor’s or higher degree in the United States, majoring in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience using data to identify business opportunities.
• Familiarity with consumer trends and retail or ecommerce market dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship experience in marketplace platforms, retail strategy, consulting, or category management.
• Strong business judgment and structured problem solving capabilities.
• Experience working with data to support business analysis and strategic planning.
• Self driven with strong ownership and the ability to adapt in a fastmoving environment.

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75- $23.75.

• Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more.
• Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
• Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
