ABOUT THE POSITION

The Assistant Company Manager role exists to support the Company Manager in all aspects of artist care. This role works both in-office, and often in designated offsite locations to handle artist needs, travel and housing errands, artist hospitality, and more.

Collaborate with the Company Manager to
  • Assist with transport of oversized artist boxes, tour trunks, deliveries, musical equipment, welcome bags, and other additional housing amenities as needed
  • Assist in the maintenance of company resident apartments and set standard of excellence in lodging
  • Purchase apartment supplies, furniture, and union‑required items
  • Schedule and supervise apartment cleaning staff
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with apartment managers, corporate housing partners, and hotel sales managers
Provide Administrative Support
  • Assist in processing reimbursable and vendor invoices including apartment bills, vendor invoices, reimbursable artist expenses, and other miscellaneous billing
  • Assist in scheduling and tracking physical therapy appointments for artists, and maintaining relationships with therapists
  • Assist with company hospitality, morale, and theatre‑wide events
Serve as an essential contributor to Seattle Rep’s culture and success
  • Add constructively to the collaborative and collegial health of the organization
  • Actively participate in the EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion) work of the organization
  • Engage with and strive to advance Seattle Rep’s mission, vision, and values in all aspects of work
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Commitment to cultivating an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace via decisive action including consistently seeking out opportunities for self and community improvement in the areas of racial equity, accessibility, gender inclusivity, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Minimum one-year experience in administrative and/or customer service
  • Computer literacy and accuracy a must: MS Office software, internet research, etc.

  • Ability to positively problem solve
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written form
  • Ability to work in a highly organized, detail‑oriented manner
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately manage confidential information
  • Experience in successfully meeting deadlines under pressure with grace and humor
  • Ability to work an agreed‑upon, varied schedule, including evening and weekend hours
