Prevailing Wage Administrator

Exxel Pacific is seeking a Prevailing Wage Administrator to support our commercial construction projects across the Pacific Northwest. In this role, you will manage certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance, review contracts for wage requirements, and verify proper classifications and rates for all workers and subcontractors. You will maintain accurate documentation, respond to audits and agency inquiries, and train project teams on wage regulations.

Working closely with project managers, accounting, and HR, you'll help ensure Exxel's commitments to accuracy, integrity, safety, and community-focused construction are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Manage certified payroll processing for prevailing wage projects
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage laws
• Review contracts and project documents for wage requirements
• Verify worker classifications and wage rates for employees and subcontractors
• Maintain accurate and organized wage and payroll records
• Prepare and respond to audits, reports, and agency inquiries
• Coordinate with project managers, HR, and accounting on wage compliance
• Train and support project teams on prevailing wage procedures and documentation
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes accordingly
• Support continuous improvement in accuracy, integrity, and safety practices
