Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst plays a leading, cross functional role in helping NAC establish clear, practical business processes that support efficient execution, consistent outcomes, and effective day to day operations.

Working closely with department leaders, project teams, and operational staff, the Senior Business Analyst helps teams document and improve workflows, clarify handoffs, and align on practical ways of working that support how the firm operates today and as it grows. A key focus of this role is helping the organization establish clearer ownership of business processes and the information those processes produce.

The Senior Business Analyst will also support business systems implementation projects as assigned, helping define requirements, coordinate with stakeholders, and support successful delivery and adoption across the firm.

This position is well suited for someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complex or evolving situations, facilitating alignment across teams, and balancing structure with pragmatism in a collaborative, project driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with leadership and staff to understand how work is performed and help define clear, practical future-state (“to-be”) workflows that support how the firm intends to operate.
  • Facilitate discussions to align on improved ways of working, including agreement on standard workflows, key handoffs, and decision points.
  • Identify opportunities to improve consistency, clarity, and efficiency across key processes as they evolve from current to future state.
  • Create and maintain process documentation that reflects agreed-upon “to-be” workflows and is lightweight, accessible, and useful to the people doing the work.
  • Help teams align on intended workflows and reduce reliance on informal or ad-hoc approaches over time.
Process Ownership & Operational Clarity
  • Support department leaders in clarifying responsibility for key business processes and workflows.
  • Partner with leaders to reinforce ownership of how work is performed and improved over time.
  • Identify where unclear ownership or inconsistent practices create avoidable confusion or rework, and help teams address root causes collaboratively.
Requirements & Systems Implementation Support
  • Support business systems implementation projects as assigned by gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating working sessions, and clarifying scope and expectations.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical resources to ensure shared understanding throughout implementation efforts.
  • Support key implementation activities such as process design discussions, user validation, UAT coordination, and rollout readiness, depending on project needs.
  • Help teams understand how system changes affect their day to day work and support adoption through documentation and communication.
Change Management & Adoption
  • Partner with teams as workflows and systems evolve, helping them understand changes and apply them confidently in their day to day work.
  • Develop simple process guides, job aids, and reference materials as needed.
  • Gather feedback from users and help refine processes and solutions based on real world use.
Improvement Intake & Prioritization
  • Assist with intake and shaping of process and systems improvement requests by clarifying the underlying need before solutioning.
  • Help stakeholders prioritize improvement efforts based on impact, effort, and organizational readiness.
