As manager, program management in Coffeehouse Development Business Systems, you will lead a team of product managers and systems support professionals responsible for the products, platforms and critical processes that help our development partners grow and manage the Starbucks store portfolio. You will set a clear product vision, develop and own integrated roadmaps, and translate partner needs into capabilities that reduce friction, strengthen business continuity and enable execution across planning, real estate, design and construction.

Working closely with Starbucks Technology and business leaders, you will connect strategy, product delivery, sustainment and change adoption to create critical development capabilities.

As manager, program management, you will:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team – coach product managers and systems support professionals, create clarity on roles and priorities, build capability across product strategy and operational excellence, and foster an inclusive culture of accountability, curiosity and partnership.
• Own the product vision and integrated roadmap – establish a cohesive, outcome-led roadmap across development products and platforms; connect investments to partner pain points and development strategy, and make clear tradeoffs across new capabilities, enhancements, technical health and sustainment.
• Translate development needs into scalable solutions – engage partners across development to understand workflows, identify root causes and define products, processes and capabilities that simplify work and improve our ability to execute.
• Connect business strategy and technology delivery – serve as a trusted counterpart to Starbucks Technology, aligning on product direction, requirements, funding, sequencing, architecture, testing, releases and adoption while ensuring business outcomes remain at the center of delivery.
• Create an effective product and support operating model – clarify ownership, governance, decision rights and escalation paths across product teams and support functions; strengthen coverage, documentation, controls and continuity for business-critical platforms.
• Turn support insights into product improvement – use service trends, partner feedback, operational data and recurring pain points to reduce repeat issues, improve self-service, prioritize enhancements and inform longer-term roadmap choices.

We’d love to hear from people with:

• Progressive experience in product management, program management, business systems, and/or strategy leading transformation programs and projects
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to connect process, data, technology, controls and user experience to solve complex business problems.
• Demonstrated ability and experience in developing and driving product strategy and multi-year roadmaps across a complex portfolio of products, platforms or business capabilities.
• Experience establishing operating models, governance, service management practices or support strategies for business-critical systems.
• Experience partnering with technology teams through discovery, prioritization, delivery, testing, release and ongoing product health.
• Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to simplify complex topics, frame decisions and communicate risk, status and outcomes with clarity.
