Primary location is Rainier Community Center, but the program is delivered out of John Muir Elementary School
Schedule- Monday-Friday during after-school hours, up to 23 hours per week during the school year
- May work summers as well
- Due to your schedule, you can work some or all of these days; please let us know
- Schedules may vary based on availability and program needs
- Assists and leads in the application of daily curriculum activities with a classroom of children ages 5-12 years old.
- Models appropriate behavior and provides opportunities for social and emotional growth.
- Helps ensure a ratio of 1:10 (staff to children) is maintained as much as possible to ensure that children are safe and always accounted for.
- Collaborates with and supports fellow School-Age Care staff and receives guidance, coaching, and direction from the ARC School-Age Care Director.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or other secondary education.
- MMR vaccination record, tuberculosis (TB) testing, MERIT Portable Background Check, and Washington State Food Worker Cardare required after being hired as required by the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF).(ARC will assist you through these requirements and pay the fees associated with the TB testing.)
