What You’ll Do- Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates during all phases of design and preconstruction.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids to ensure accurate project costs.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop budgets and proposals for negotiated and competitive bid projects.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities, assess risk impacts, and provide value‑engineering options.
- Participate in subcontractor outreach, site walks, and scope reviews.
- Manage multiple estimates at once while maintaining organization and accuracy.
- 3+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction.
- On‑site field experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction divisions, means, and methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.
- Experience with On‑Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Smart Bid, or similar estimating or bid management software.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
