Essential

Job Duties:

• Conduct and document observations of construction progress for civil projects such as roadways, highways, bridges, and overpasses.
• Collaborate with field representatives or Project Managers.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies or conflicts.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced field staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent, Technical school or Associate degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting civil infrastructure projects for transit, roads, highways, bridges, and overpasses.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proven problem-solving and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pass required drug‑screening procedures, subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testing.
• Commitment to an employee‑owned culture.
• Relevant industry certifications.
• Ability to interpret construction schedules.
