Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its PCI Seattle 552 operations based in Woodinville, WA. The Project Manager will lead on‑site operations for insulation, drywall, demolition, and scaffolding projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Initiate and maintain customer contact to secure profitable execution of work.
  • Direct and manage construction activities to maximize margin contributions.
  • Interpret and analyze contract documents regarding terms, specifications, clarifications, and requirements.
  • Manage job site personnel and maintain effective relationships with owners, engineers, utilities, subcontractors, contractors, unions, etc.
  • Estimate, bid, and secure construction projects that meet revenue and margin targets.
  • Implement loss control and claims management programs, including workers’ compensation.
  • Analyze and monitor actual vs. estimated costs to develop action plans for unfavorable variances.
  • Effectively estimate majority of work in the region and solicit estimating support when necessary.
  • Negotiate contract issues, variances, change orders, scope changes, claims, and other project issues as required.

Salary range: $115,000–$140,000 annual salary plus non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Basic Requirements
  • Minimum of 3–5 years Construction Management experience.
  • Experience managing drywall, scaffolding, insulation, and demolition scopes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
  • High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.
  • Ability to read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.
  • Proficiency with computer takeoff and estimating software such as On‑Screen Takeoff and Quickbid.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and keep each on schedule to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company.
  • Must be flexible and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast‑paced environment.

This position is safety sensitive.

Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management.
  • Experience working with union representatives.
  • OSHA certification.
  • Local to the Seattle area is preferred but not required.
