Hill International is seeking an Office Engineer in Seattle, Washington
- Oversee document control and document management functions.
- Facilitate the conduct of various progress and other meetings with the subject project’s contractor.
- Assist with the preparation for and the conduct of negotiations concerning construction change orders and claims.
- Review Inspector Daily Reports for accuracy and completeness and ensure their storage as part of project documentation.
- Verify that quantities for monthly construction contractor’s payments are accurate and complete.
- Provide personnel proficient in the client’s programs, including SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and other project management software.
- Create, log, copy, distribute, and file all contract correspondence, paperwork and/or electronic files.
- Perform office administrative tasks as required to meet the client’s documentation requirements and to ensure timely and accurate record of receipt and delivery of notices, correspondence, and other transmittals.
- 5+ years of construction experience, including inspection, project controls, estimating, and/or document management.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in construction management, engineering, or architecture.
- Ability to inspect in-progress construction work to ensure compliance with the contract documents, specifications, permits, and drawings.
- Knowledge of state‑of‑the‑art construction techniques, project management, and contract administration.
- Familiarity with various project delivery models (Design‑Build, Design‑Bid‑Build, GC/CM) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $185,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
