Senior Construction Inspector

Position Overview

GFT is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services team in the Seattle area. We oversee every construction phase to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

This position reports directly to construction sites to observe and document contractor work conforming to contract requirements, maintain project files and documentation, compile and calculate quantities for monthly contractor payments, and interact with clients on a regular basis.

• Assist with Payment Applications and Change Orders
• Assist with Project Filing System
• Perform Constructability Reviews
• Address Technical Issues in the Field
• Inspection Team Leader

• 10+ years of experience
• Associate's Degree or 2+ years of continued higher education preferred
• Inspection Team Leader (as directed)
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• OSHA Safety Training
• Good communication skills
• Must possess a driver's license to fulfill essential functions of the position

• Preferred BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Preferred Registered Professional Engineer
• NICET IV Certification Preferred
• ACI Field Testing Certification Preferred

The salary range is $125,000 - $160,000, depending on experience and location.
