Job Description
This role is responsible for managing and coordinating the full lifecycle of subcontractor invoices across construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment. The position involves reviewing and validating subcontractor pay applications against contracts, purchase orders, and change orders, while confirming all required documentation (e.g., lien waivers, certificates of insurance, and approvals) is complete prior to processing. The individual partners closely with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to resolve billing discrepancies, track project costs, and ensure proper job cost allocation.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, supporting payment schedules and cash flow tracking, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring adherence to company policies and construction‑specific compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and an understanding of construction billing processes are critical to success in this role.

Skills and Requirements Must Haves- 2+ years of construction retainage
- Experience in ERP systems (Procore, viewpoint, D365 specifically)
- Strong understanding of retainage + contract‑based payment structures
- Subcontract invoicing / Invoice processing
- Managing subcontracts
- Ability to work somewhat independently (self‑sufficient)
- High School diploma
- Experience with in construction, intangibles
- LEANS experience
