We are looking for a motivated and engaged Construction Superintendent to join the Pennon Construction team in Seattle, WA to supervise a broad spectrum of project types. We are currently seeking experienced Superintendents with Shell and Core, Industrial Concrete Tilt-up, and/or Tenant Improvement backgrounds. You will be working closely with others in a team-driven environment, effectively working in partnership with your Project Manager and Project Engineer to achieve timely and quality completion of construction projects.
A proven track record of honest and ethical business practices is a must - as is an enthusiastic attitude and a desire to learn. Pennon thrives on a communal, collaborative work environment and we look forward to adding like-minded individuals to our team!
- Oversee and manage field operations for commercial construction projects in various segments.
- Work in conjunction with the Pennon office team, including Project Managers and Engineers.
- Create and maintain a project schedule to achieve timely project turnover.
- Coordinate on-site subcontractors, including materials deliveries and waste removal.
- Resolve on-site project-related problems in partnership with the Project Manager and Project Engineer.
- Prepare daily logs of the goings-on on-site, alerting the project team to major milestones and relaying potential critical path developments.
- Be a part of project teams in varied project types and market segments.
- 10+ years of demonstrated career growth as a commercial Superintendent.
- Demonstrate a clear progression and development of responsibilities in previous positions.
- Firm understanding of common phases of Site Supervision: safety, quality control, estimating/constructability support, schedule, submittal and shop drawing support, process management and tracking, personnel supervision and evaluation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel and Project.
