GFT is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Construction Services team in the Seattle area.

Whatyou’ll be challenged to do
With little or no supervision, act as Owner Agent to provide construction management and inspection services for a wide variety of projects, including transportation and transit facilities. Perform assignments that may not be clearly defined and require the development of construction documents, procedures, and criteria. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities- Conduct and document project meetings with clients.
- Manage construction field personnel, including teaming partners.
- Negotiate and approve construction change orders.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Prepare proposals and presentations.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets.
- Prepare and issue reports and correspondence.
- Approve quantities for measurement and payment purposes.
- Approve construction payment applications.
- Resolve technical issues.
- Perform constructability reviews and value engineering studies.
- Lead Risk Management assessments.
- Prepare and monitor Quality Control and Assurance Plans.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures.
- Associate’s: K-12 or GED.
- First‑degree:
Homeowner / Contractor / Property Developer or similar significant experience. - Second‑degree:
Any completion of a college‑equivalent degree or occupational training program.
- CCM preferred.
- Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
- 10‑hour OSHA Safety course preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess a driver’s license.
The salary range for this role is $160,000 – $190,000, dependent upon experience and geographic location.
