THE ROLE

Insomniac is looking for a Lighting Team Member. This position will report to the Lighting Project Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Execute the installation of lighting fixtures according to the direction provided by the lighting project manager and production designer

* Assist with running electrical wiring and assisting with troubleshooting electrical issues

* Assisting with programming specialty lighting

* Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

* Previous experience in lighting setup and operation for live events

* Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting

* Basic understanding of lighting programming and control systems

* Detail-oriented with a commitment to achieving precise and high-quality results

* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

* Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 75lbs

WORK ENVIRONMENT

* Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments

* May work in drastic temperature climates

* Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
