The Brooks Creative team imagines, designs, curates, and manifests creative concepts, campaigns, and assets that define and express the Brooks brand. Web, digital, events, print, retail, packaging – even porta‑potties – are our canvas and runners are our inspiration. Our growing team seeks a Digital Designer to develop digital marketing creative to support eCommerce, articles, CRM, social, and more.

Your Responsibilities
  • Create exceptional digital designs for brand and product content (including display visuals, page content, display advertising, social content, motion/animation work) for , vendors, interactive retail experiences, and future Brooks digital products.
  • Create designs in Figma for internal presentation of concept directions in mobile and desktop environments.
  • Create static and motion content to drive product conversion and brand engagement on , CRM, vendor, and social channels.
  • Problem‑solve business needs with multiple designs and concepts, with revisions happening under short timelines.
  • Continually develop design presentation and strategic skills; push your thinking beyond current projects with an understanding of how digital design solutions made today can affect future applications.
  • Partner with UX designers for exceptional user interactions.
  • Partner with copywriters to develop content for all digital channels.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Gain and maintain a current and deep understanding of the product, target audience, and competitor activities in the market.
  • Actively contribute to workflow improvements that enable the team to develop best‑in‑class digital creative.
  • Take initiative and have ownership in project tasks, utilize creative problem‑solving, speak up, have a point of view, think strategically, champion the importance of detail, have fun, wear many hats, roll up your sleeves, and cultivate optimism.
Qualifications
  • Online design portfolio demonstrating best‑in‑class layout, typography, and conceptual skills; please add your online portfolio link at the top of your resume when applying.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent years of experience considered.
  • 3+ years of experience as a graphic designer, digital designer, or visual designer.
  • Illustration skills are a plus.
  • Working understanding of digital design spaces.
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
  • Experience in mobile‑first, responsive web environments.
  • Experience in motion graphics and/or relevant animation experience.
  • Experience building wireframes informed by research, user stories, and content strategy.
  • Ability to communicate design choices in HTML/CSS; prototyping is a big plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust and effective working relationships.
  • Fast and efficient, with proven project/time‑management skills; committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment and collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve necessary results.

Compensation

The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $70,007 – $105,064 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
