Job description

Our tech client is looking for a freelance Marketing Specialist to support a growing education and training program by overseeing marketing asset updates, creative production, and cross‑functional coordination. The position blends hands‑on creative work with structured project management to ensure all program materials remain current, consistent, and scalable across channels. This role is onsite in Seattle.

Key Responsibilities Materials Updates & Asset Management
  • Review and audit existing program collateral, including internal sites, video content, wiki pages, and on‑site signage and merchandise.
  • Develop and maintain a master tracking document of all assets that require updates, status, and ownership.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, messaging changes, and branding needs.
  • Execute content and design updates across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage version control, approvals, and documentation to maintain a clear history of changes.
Creative Development & Execution
  • Revise and enhance training and onboarding materials to align with updated program offerings and brand standards.
  • Refresh tutorial and "how‑to" videos, including updated graphics, lower thirds, end cards, and related visual elements.
  • Redesign wiki content templates and visual frameworks to improve clarity, usability, and visual cohesion.
  • Update on‑site signage and merchandise artwork to reflect the latest messaging and guidelines.
  • Create reusable, templated assets that can be easily adapted for future campaigns and initiatives.
Template Library Development
  • Build a robust library of templates, including posters, one‑sheets, and success story formats.
  • Develop a modular design system that supports rapid creation of new collateral while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Document practical usage guidelines and best practices for each template to support non‑design stakeholders.
Success Story Coordination
  • Coordinate with site and facilities teams to secure shoot locations and manage on‑ground logistics.
  • Identify, source, and schedule employee participants for storytelling, case studies, and video profiles.
  • Oversee collection and organization of participant releases and all required documentation.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to support pre‑production, production, and post‑production for success story content.
Additional Projects & Tasks
  • Contribute to additional marketing initiatives as needed, providing both project management and creative execution support.
  • Assist with emerging priorities and special projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving program requirements, new work streams, and shifting stakeholder needs.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing project management, creative production, or a closely related field.
  • Balanced strengths in both structured project management and hands‑on creative work.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Experience overseeing creative initiatives and maintaining productive relationships with agencies or external vendors.
  • Proficiency with creative tools such as Adobe Express or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated success in stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver high‑quality work with minimal supervision.
