Ben De La Creme  Presents is seeking a Lighting & Video Supervisor to join the touring crew of The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show 2026 US/Canada Tour, starring Ben De La Creme  and Jinkx Monsoon

Dates:
October 28 - December 31, 2026

This is an international touring position requiring a valid passport, ability to enter Canada, and travel via overnight (sleeper) tour bus.

Ben De La Creme  Presents has been producing the internationally-acclaimed The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show since 2018 and is gearing up for another holiday season with two of the world’s most famous drag queens. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our touring production team.

• Supervise all lighting and video elements of the production
• Program the lighting console during tech rehearsals, reporting to Lighting Designer
• Create and maintain all necessary standard lighting documentation
• In collaboration with the PSM, determine the appropriate Lineset Schedule for each venue, including hanging positions for LX, projector, screen, softgoods, and scenic elements as needed
• In collaboration with the PSM, supervise and direct the local crew to unload and install all lighting and video equipment. This includes the trailer/truck unload, electrics hang, projector and screen hang, electrical tie-ins, and setting and wiring of deck electrics, as well as any set electrics and other needed electrics.
• Test all equipment each day, ensuring everything is in proper working order for the performance
• Troubleshoot any equipment issues (extensive onsite moving light repair not expected)
• Maintain the artistic/creative integrity of the lighting design and adapt the design to each venue as needed, including adjusting moving light focus and presets, incorporating house FOH fixtures, and incorporating house lights and work lights
• Check and test house follow spots and brief operators
• Complete projector alignment and focus
• Operate the lighting console during performances
• In collaboration with the PSM, supervise the load-out and truck pack
• Supervise and collaborate with local stage crews and touring crew to ensure smooth and efficient load-ins, performances, and load-outs
• Collaborate with the Director and Lighting Designer to make adjustments to the lighting design as necessary
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by the Producers & Tour Manager
• Ensure and uphold all safety standards and proper theatrical workplace practices
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment

• Minimum of 5 years of professional theatrical lighting experience, some video systems/projector experience preferred
• Prior touring experience ("bus & truck" / one-night stops) working in theatres with union stagehands
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
• A professional, calm, and positive demeanor with the ability to collaborate with a small company and high-profile artists in close quarters over a sustained touring period
• Expert working knowledge of ETC EOS-family lighting consoles, including programming moving lights, maintaining a show file, adjusting presets and palettes to accommodate different spaces, working with MSC/OSC, and other skills reasonably required to tour a musical theater lighting design
• Good working knowledge of lighting networks, and the ability to incorporate house systems, as well as interface with QLab over MSC/OSC
• Expert working knowledge of theatrical power distribution, including tying in PDs, running cable to units, and safely managing cable runs onstage
• Good working knowledge of basic set electrics, including LED tape, encoders, and power supplies
• Good working knowledge of common video systems including Panasonic and Barco projectors, Blackmagic accessories, and QLab video control software
• Good working knowledge of standard theatrical rigging practices including truss/motors, single-purchase lineset systems, and hemp lineset systems
• Experience working with and leading local union crews including IATSE stagehands and Teamsters
• Ability to lift and carry at 50 lbs+, including up and down stairs
• A passport valid for international travel (valid through at least 6/30/2027)
• Ability to enter Canada (regardless of working status, Canada will not allow entry to persons with felony convictions and/or certain misdemeanor convictions, including DUIs)

• Salary: $1,500 - $2,000 per week, depending on experience (salary, exempt, non-union)
• Daily meals provided and/or per diem while working outside of home city
• All show-related airfare and ground transportation provided/reimbursed
• Single-occupancy hotel accommodations provided while working outside of home city
