Jolkona is a nonprofit that brings high potential social entrepreneurs from emerging countries to Seattle for an intensive 3-week mentor-driven accelerator. These entrepreneurs are solving some of the most challenging societal issues in their communities. Our mentors include some of Seattle's best startup talent who prepare these founders to scale and engage with investors at home and abroad.

Seattle is one of the most vibrant and welcoming startup hubs in the U.S. and has a rich history of innovation and invention. Jolkona seeks to position Seattle as a city that fosters the global entrepreneurial spirit. We’re building a network of mentors, business leaders and thought leaders who are creating and energizing communities of change makers around the world.

We are hosting a social business showcase for international ventures on Wednesday, May 25, 2016
. This event will be held at the beautiful Galvanize Space in Historic Pioneer Square. We are looking for enthusiastic and talented photographers who would help capture the event beautifully.

Photos taken will be used online and on all our social media channels.

• Education / work experience with an emphasis on Photography, reflected in a current portfolio.
• Excellent communication (written, oral, interpersonal) and organization skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

This is an unpaid volunteer position. The ticket for the event will be paid for by Jolkona, which also includes a scrumptious dinner.

Time Commitment:

4-5 hours on the day of the event

• Gain professional work experience in an area related to your degree.
• Letter of recommendation upon successful completion of responsibilities.
• Referrals on Linked In.
• Ability to build on your portfolio.
