Music & Technology Intern

Summary:

The West Seattle Music and Technology Intern works alongside the Lead Pastor in carrying out the vision for Sunday worship services through September 2026.

Non-exempt, part-time, 10 hours/week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design and execute high-quality, engaging Sunday worship services in conjunction with the Lead Pastor and staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate the worship team, including rehearsals and Sunday morning worship.
  • Participate in staff meetings, one-on-one meetings, and intern cohort meetings.
  • Lead the West Seattle campus set up of systems such as Pro Presenter and the Sound Board for Sunday morning worship, in partnership with Central Support.

  • Skilled vocalist and instrumentalist, with the ability to lead humbly and dynamically from the stage alone and with others.
  • Displays a high level of ownership and organizational skills, with experience in creating and implementing systems and processes.
  • Respects, values, and celebrates diversity with a high level of cultural competency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Other Specifications Schedule

Typical work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10 hours/week.

Physical Demands

Must be able to work in an office environment, often at a computer workstation. Must be able to move between buildings on campus. Must be able to lift small boxes and/or equipment up to 50lbs.

Working Conditions

Due to seasonal activity, job duties may often require additional hours and availability outside normal working hours. This position may require the flexibility to adjust the work schedule from time to time to work earlier or later than the typical schedule. You must be able to adapt your approach and priorities in real time based on shifting demands. We have non-smoking buildings and environments.

Compensation

$25/hour

Benefits

Sick Leave accrued at the rate of one hour per 40 hours worked.
