We’re looking for a Senior Technical Producer who is a focused, fast, and flexible operator with at least 7+ years of hands-on event production experience to lead high-visibility and high-stakes work across select global enterprise accounts.
The Sr. Technical Producer acts as the bridge between a client s creative vision and the flawless execution of audiovisual, staging, and technical infrastructure on-site. They are responsible for managing technical budgets, vendor partnerships, equipment logistics, and working with the Production Manager to align technical and creative priorities.
1. Communication & Clarity
Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will directly shape client confidence,
team morale, and TPN’s reputation. This role will:
- Run client and internal status meetings
- Manage timelines and delivery expectations
- Identify risks early and communicate them clearly and calmly
- Plan and execute live, hybrid, and experiential events from kickoff through wrap, focused primarily on live keynotes on stage.
- Conduct thorough site surveys to evaluate power distribution, rigging points, loading docks, and internet bandwidth limitations.
- In conjunction withthe
Technical Director and Production Manager, advise on production schedules covering pre-production, rehearsals, and show. - Work with Production Manager to craft budgets, schedules, run-of-show, and monitor vendors deliverables.
- Monitor costs against approved budgets and address variances proactively.
- Ensure every experience meets the TPN standard, is on-brand, and maps to the brief
- Work together with Creative Strategy, Design, Technology and Client Services
- Partner with internal creative teams and stakeholders to translate design concepts into sound, executable technical systems
- Support developing creative ideas into real-world experiences that work on time and on budget.
- Source, negotiate, and manage AV, staging, scenic, labor, and tech vendors
- Hold vendors and partners accountable to TPN’s standards of speed, clarity, and quality
As a seasoned event professional, you:
- Have 7+years producing and/or managing live, digital and hybrid events
- Know how to run complex programs with many work streams and stakeholders
- Are solution-oriented, thriving in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Are respected because you are clear, calm, and relentlessly organized
- Have a masterful ability to explain complex technical constraints or possibilities to non-technical corporate clients and executives.

- Holding teams and vendors accountable while maintaining positive relationships
- Anticipatingoperationalor financial risk and proactively implementing solutions.
- Proven experience with AV, staging, labor, lighting, rigging, and event technology
- Mastery of Microsoft Office, Teams, and Share Point
- Project management and collaboration tools (Teams, TPN AI tools, Airtable, Slack, Vectorworks, CAD)
