As a Service Advisor, you are the vital link between our customers and our technicians. You’ll ensure every client receives clear communication, accurate estimates, and a seamless service experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the face of the shop - you'll be one of the first people customers speak with.
- Answer incoming calls and schedule service appointments
- Listen carefully to customers’ concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms
- Prepare competitive, transparent repair estimates and clearly explain recommended services
- Communicate repair timelines and set clear expectations
- Enter detailed visit information into our database with accuracy and completeness
- Ensure technicians fully understand customer concerns through clear repair order documentation
- Verify warranty and insurance coverage; obtain customer authorization before repairs
- Coordinate parts ordering and communicate with vendors regarding delivery timelines
- Accurately document billing information and technician labor hours
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a timely, positive, and professional repair experience
- Review all documentation for accuracy prior to customer payment
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor (automotive industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills and ability to conduct online research
- Financial awareness with the ability to meet performance metrics
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
