Western National is seeking a Support Specialist I to join our team.

The individual in this role will complete data entry of new business, renewals, and endorsements.

What are the responsibilities and opportunities of this role?
  • Keep accurate and current records in designated systems accessible to others
  • Update routine reports and understand information
  • Perform routine and clerical duties
  • Manually rate all lines of coverage, including non‑automated and infrequent coverages, as needed
  • Seek relevant information and answer key questions from defined sources
  • Gather input and make recommendations to solve problems of moderate complexity
  • Apply knowledge to help solve problems of relatively limited scope and complexity
  • Consistently act according to our customer experience standards—respond quickly, maintain a positive attitude, build rapport, demonstrate empathy, manage the customer’s expectations, use the appropriate communication channel, and take ownership to ensure issue resolution
  • Frequently contact other internal departments and team members
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements Must‑have qualifications
  • Good communication skills
  • Demonstrated eye for detail
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation overview

The full hiring range for this role is $20.76 – $28.05 per hour. The base pay offered may vary depending on each candidate’s knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience, as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates seeking compensation outside the posted range are encouraged to apply and will be considered on an individual basis or may be considered for other positions.
