Overview

Sound Credit Union is currently seeking a Teller / Member Service Representative to join the team at our Southcenter Branch. The role focuses on helping members with financial transactions, building relationships, and delivering exceptional member service. The organization offers a Branch Progression Model designed for advancement and on-the-job training with structured compensation increases.

Compensation and incentives are provided, with a target salary range and a full salary range depending on experience and education. A broad incentive plan is available tied to product and service goals, paid quarterly when branch goals are met.

There is a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus associated with this position, with payout timing outlined in the compensation details.

Teller (Member Service Representative)

Responsibilities: As the first point of contact, you will assist members with financial transactions, respond to inquiries, build relationships, and provide information on account status, balances, and loan details to deliver exceptional member service.

Requirements: One year of experience in a customer service position is required. Cash handling and retail sales experience are preferred. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

In addition: Must be bondable. Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization is not available. Notary and NMLS certifications are necessary for UA II level and higher and require US citizenship or permanent legal residency to be obtained as per WA State Law.

In-person schedule is required. Shifts are typically Monday – Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM or 9:15 AM – 5:45 PM, with rotating Saturdays 8:45 AM – 1:15 PM, affording a day off during the week.
