Overview
The Night Auditor responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints.
- Assist customers in all inquiries in connection with our services, hours of operations, key personnel, in‑house events, directions, etc.
- Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner, making recommendations based on local knowledge and Level practices.
- Process packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
- Ensure that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current.
- Know what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establish close contacts with vendors in these areas to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests.
- Store and retrieve guest luggage and packages.
- Utilize a variety of software programs to accurately input special arrangements the guest has made and to assure proper billing.
- Comply with Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
- Monitor house accounts, adjusting weekly and balancing forward daily; sort shift work balancing adjustments and charges, making all necessary corrections.
- Maintain all necessary system backups daily (PMS, merchant interfaces, etc.).
- Complete credit card balancing and processing in a timely manner, ensuring that work is transmitted daily and all back up filed properly.
- Perform other duties as required.
- High School Diploma.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows.
- Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Flexible schedule that may include holidays, weekends, and any day of the week.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and organize.
- Clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
- Ability to understand guest service needs.
- Proven ability to work cohesively with co‑workers as part of a team.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
- Flexible schedule that may include holidays, weekends, and any day of the week.

Salary Range: $26-27 per hour.
