P&C Resource Center Specialist Extern

This position is temporary and/or intermittent in nature. Length of service exceeds 100 hours. This will be a hybrid work experience, requiring an in-person presence approximately 2-3 days per week.

Responsible for supporting Seattle Children's Resource Center within People & Culture with a high level of customer service. Supporting Seattle Children's leaders, current and former employees, as a single point of entry of all HR related information. This team member will handle inbound calls, emails, tickets ensuring prompt, accurate and timely service to all. Provide customer service and guidance to all People & Culture Team members to develop and implement daily improvement initiatives and strategies to better serve our work force.

Report on daily activities in order to assist team leads in planning and effectively scheduling staff to meet anticipated workloads.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff, managers, and executive leaders
• Exercise discretion when processing and navigating confidential or sensitive information
• Able to effectively problem-solve and handle moderately to highly complex problems/issues in standard or emergent situations, and to be innovative and creative
• Able to effectively collaborate in an agile environment, with regular interruptions and changes of priority
• Able to remain highly organized, work independently and prioritize work from multiple sources; and effectively participate as a team member

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Recent graduate from a local college or technical school
• Strong desire to engage with Seattle Children's workforce in support of their service to patients, families and the community
• Strong desire to participate in mission-driven work

$23.00 per hour. This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle, positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
