Customer Service Rep, Event Staff/ Venue Crew
Welcome attendees at entrances and explain Ground Control’s presence and purpose
Follow assigned shift schedules, pump water at free refill stations, and patrol event zones with assigned group members
Operate a two-way radio and perform emergency medical calls
Monitor radio communications and respond immediately to calls and requests
Assist distressed individuals
Share information from the event website, festival guide, and staff guide with attendees
Understand evacuation procedures and identify safe refuge locations before each show
Provide directional support at entrances using megaphones
Report to Ground Control and Headliner Experience Managers
Requirements
- Customer service-related work experience preferred
- Experience using radios required
- Ability to work under pressure in stressful environments
- Energetic and focused personality with initiative
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and manage deadlines
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with all levels of individuals
- Ability to de-escalate situations
- Ability to stand for up to four hours at a time and walk long distances
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Ability to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments
- Willingness to work in drastically varying temperature climates
- Willingness to frequently travel to events during holidays, evenings, and weekends as required
