About the Role:As an Activities Scheduling Coordinator at Marymoor Park, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for athletic field and facility reservations, helping leagues, community organizations, and park visitors access recreation spaces. This role combines customer service, scheduling, problem solving, and operational coordination to ensure facilities are reserved efficiently and visitors receive exceptional service.

The park provides a wide range of recreational opportunities, including athletic fields, special events, community activities, and facility rentals.
The Recreation, Partnerships, and Property Management Section manage facility reservations, recreation opportunities, partnerships, and visitor services throughout King County Parks. At Marymoor Park, you'll work with a collaborative team dedicated to providing outstanding customer service while supporting one of the busiest and most diverse park destinations in the region.

- Coordinate athletic field reservations and facility rentals by responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Process reservations, agreements and required documentation using Active Net and other related business systems.
- Build positive relationships with park users, organizations, and community partners while providing exceptional customer service.
- Manage customer accounts by collecting payments, following up on delinquent accounts, and modifying permit status as appropriate.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and customer concerns by applying sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
- Work closely with the Event Coordinator to ensure accurate scheduling and availability of fields and facilities and collaborate on multi-use event days to maintain accessibility for all park users.
- Communicate and support change management initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Serve as Venue Supervisor during large events to help ensure safe and successful operations.
- Experience coordinating athletic, recreation, facility event or similar scheduling activities using Active Net or comparable reservation or scheduling system.
