Associate Dentist – Ballard practice

Our Ballard practice is seeking a full-time General Dentist to start this March/April. The practice is located in a neighborhood with rich cultural history and a vibrant food scene, with ample parking surrounding the practice and nearby Wallingford and University District Metro stops. The ideal candidate is a skilled provider focused on comprehensive dentistry and making a positive impact on the employee culture.

Our practice emphasizes that an amazing patient experience starts with an amazing employee experience. Our practice is modern, digital, and located in a vibrant neighborhood.

• Pay: 32.5% adjusted net production (with initial daily rate); signing bonus: $5,000 (minimum 1 year experience); annual earnings of about $254,000 (first year average)
• Strong marketing delivering 50-70 new patients per month (average)
• 8-12 treatment patients per shift (plus hygiene checks with our hygienists)
• Balanced Monday–Friday schedule with 1 Saturday per month

• Provide consultations with patients, discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish comprehensive treatment plans
• Perform dental procedures such as extractions, root canals, and fillings
• • Correct bite issues and overcrowding
  • Apply preventative measures such as sealants or whiteners
  • Prescribe medications as needed (pain meds, antibiotics)
  • Utilize tools to examine and treat teeth
• Maintain accurate records relating to patient oral health and treatments rendered
• Collaborate with the team to provide outstanding patient care
• Diagnose and plan treatment for oral diseases and systemic manifestations
• Routine follow-up with patients via phone or email
• Manage patient experiences and expectations to create positive outcomes

• Active IL dental license with malpractice insurance
• Willingness to comply with local, state, and federal laws
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to keep detailed records
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and treatment planning
• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
• Ability to manage dental complications for procedures
• Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work
• Adaptability to Dentologie’s learning environment and willingness to accept feedback to enhance skills
