Our Ballard practice is seeking a full‑time, awesome General Dentist to start this March/April! The practice is located in a neighborhood with rich cultural history and a vibrant food scene – all just a stone’s throw away from the marina. Ample parking surrounds the clinic, and nearby Wallingford and University District Metro stops provide convenient access.

The ideal candidate is a skilled provider focused on delivering excellent comprehensive dentistry while positively impacting the employee culture. What We Offer You
  • Pay: 32.5% adjusted net production (w/initial daily rate)
    • Signing bonus: $5,000.00* (least 1 year experience)
    • Annual earnings of $254,000 (avg, 1st year)

  • Providing orthodontics via Invisalign with a predictable system as part of training. Vivera retainers are considered standard at Dentologie.
Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation with patients, discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and restorative outcomes.
  • Perform dental procedures such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities
    • Correct bite issues and overcrowding
    • Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners
    • Prescribe medications such as pain medication or antibiotics
    • Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes to examine and treat teeth
  • Keep accurate records of the patient’s oral health and the treatments rendered.
  • Manage positively and communicate with the team to provide outstanding care to patients.
  • Diagnose, develop treatment plans, and identify oral disease and oral manifestations of systemic diseases.
  • Conduct routine follow‑up with patients either by phone or email.
  • Manage both patient experiences and patient expectations to create a positive outcome.
Qualifications
  • Active IL dental license (and malpractice insurance).
  • Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and thorough treatment‑planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed.
  • Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work.
  • Ability to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance.
