The Treatment Coordinator’s primary responsibility include: presenting treatment plans as diagnosed by the dentist and creating the value, helping the patient overcome financial obstacles, scheduling the patient for next appointment, following up on unscheduled treatment and creating a world class patient experience.

- Prepare and present treatment plan and financial estimates to patients for all prescribed treatment.
- Schedule patient treatment appointments: reschedule patients that miss their appointment and call patients that have not completed treatment.
- Partner with the rest of the team to ensure providers’ schedules are optimized.
- Work with clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow, providing communication and information to the appropriate individuals.
- Assist patient with financial arrangements.
- Complete estimates on patient portion of treatment.
- Utilize outside financial partners like Care Credit.
- Handle all treatment paperwork including consent forms.
- Effectively communicate and develop a strong working relationship with the Doctor and promote teamwork through cooperative and professional behaviors.
- Assist at the front desk as needed.
- Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient’s records.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience treatment planning in a dental practice
- Computer competency
- Organizational skills
- Clear, concise communication
- Ability to work in a team environment required
