Dental Assistant II – Seattle, WAPosition summary:
Full-time Dental Assistant II providing chair side assistance using four-handed dentistry technique with diagnostic, preventative, restorative, endodontic, periodontal, oral surgery, prosthodontic and orthodontic procedures. Responsibilities include patient education, vital sign acquisition, treatment plan assistance, insurance pre-authorizations, and help coordinate training of new employees. The role may also involve temporary assignments in other departments or sites as directed by the supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Completion of a formal Dental Assistant program at a college, technical institute, or equivalent.
- Minimum six months of work experience; if no formal training, at least 18 months in a Dental Assistant position.
- Registered with the Washington State Department of Health, maintaining current registration.
- Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
- TB testing annually and current Washington State Dental Registration.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Hourly Rate: $21.99.
