COWLITZ RIVER DENTAL is a patient-focused and family-owned private dental practice based in Castle Rock, WA, small town feel close to metropolitan areas and airports. Our practice offers comprehensive and advanced general and family dentistry services in a modern, well-quipped clinical setting. Team members collaborate closely to provide high-quality care, emphasizing comfort, clear communication, and long-term oral health.

The Associate Dentist will provide a full range of general dental services, including examinations, diagnostics, restorative procedures, preventive care, and patient education. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing treatment plans, performing procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and basic endodontics, and documenting care in the practice’s clinical systems. The role involves close collaboration with hygienists, dental assistants, and front office team members to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience.

The Associate Dentist will maintain strict adherence to clinical guidelines, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Seattle Area, only a 45 minute drive to Vancouver, WA and the Portland, OR airport., while
15 minutes away from the city of Longview, WA.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong clinical dentistry skills, including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, and preventive care.
  • Candidates should possess skills in patient communication, including explaining treatment options, providing education, and building trust with diverse patient populations.
  • Candidates should possess skills in working within a clinical team, collaborating effectively with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff.
  • Candidates should possess skills in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and using dental practice management or electronic health record systems.
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
  • Active Washington State dental license (or eligibility to obtain), in good standing.
  • Current professional liability insurance and certifications in CPR/BLS.
  • Commitment to infection control protocols, safety standards, and ethical patient care.
  • Interest in ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in dentistry.
