In this role, you will work alongside teammates in the Architecture Marketing Studio with a focus on visual and written storytelling. You will be integral in the development of the architecture practice’s flagship publication and visual assets for multi-media campaigns. Your work will be integrated as part of fully developed campaigns that include both written and visual content for award submittals, book design, social media posts, articles, publications, infographics, videos, web, and presentations.

Responsibilities- Apply expertise in graphic design fundamentals to elevate all visual outputs (layout, typography, alignment, hierarchy, and composition).
- Interpret architectural design content to communicate visually from concept through completion using graphics, layouts, diagrams, infographics, and mixed media storytelling.
- Create refined print and digital ready deliverables.
- Demonstrate curiosity with an understanding of basic architectural drawings.
- Brainstorm and develop diagrams and graphics that convey complex data in collaboration with experts from architecture, design, computational, sustainability, research and planning disciplines.
- Refine architectural drawings, renderings, and animations to translate and simplify design ideas for clients, media partners and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the architecture communications team and Architecture Marketing Studio to develop new ideas and projects aligned with business goals.
- Deliver assignments on time while meeting quality standards.
- Work with peer or senior designers on multi-component projects.
- Research technology and production techniques for each project as needed.
- Develop visual standards for awards and external media in collaboration with leadership.
- Minimum of 3 years in the architecture industry.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Design Communication, Architecture or related discipline.
- Experience with Premiere, After Effects, and Audition; ability and experience working on strategic campaigns.
- Ability to curate and design compelling project narratives for high-end publications, presentations, brochures, infographics, and architecture graphics; advanced proficiency in layout design, typography, and graphic design principles.
- Demonstrates a rigorous, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to synthesize information into clear visual narratives.
- Proficient in communication, negotiation, flexibility, time and project management, attention to detail, leadership, and teamwork; experience collaborating with architects, project managers, and marketing teams.
- Nice to have:
Rhino, Revit or other visualization tools. - Submittal requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to design a wide variety of styles and an eye for design details (typography, alignment, hierarchy).
- Strong portfolio showing design experience.
- Understanding of branding/brand development, communications, and research.
- Proficiency in customer service, strong communication and negotiation skills, flexibility, time management, project management, attention to detail, leadership, and teamwork.
