Senior Product Manager, Tech, Partner-Branded FTV, FireTV Devices

* Understand the needs and related trends for customers, TV partners, and offline consumer electronics retailers
* Keep abreast with the technologies and trends related to TVs
* Define the product strategy for the region accounting for customers, partner and business needs
* Define the roadmap for TVs including TV line-up, specifications, software features working backwards from customers, partners, industry and business needs
* Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
* Work closely with engineering, program management, and QA teams to implement and deliver the product, on-time and exceeding a high quality bar
* Drive decisions across cross-functional teams that include engineering, UX and commercial teams.
* Drive product launches in concert with Engineering, Go to Market, operations, PR and other teams

A day in the life
* Work with TV partners on defining the product roadmap, product requirements
* Understand business requirements and write product requirementss (BRDs/PRDs), strategy docs, and PRFAQs
* Work with engineering and other tech teams to build the product and see them through launch
* Work with go-to-market, business development, finance, PR and other internal teams on the launch of TVsAbout the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
- Experience working with customers, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs- 5+ years of product management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, processes, technologies and key suppliers
