How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s ChoiceAs a Senior Print & Packaging Designer, you will shape our brand through best-in-class packaging and retail expressions that resonate globally. This role expands upon our established packaging practice by elevating technical rigor, structural innovation, and global production leadership—all while maintaining the science-backed, real results, consumer-first tone of the Paula’s Choice brand.
Typical Day- Developing packaging concepts, dielines, and production-ready mechanicals for primary components (bottles, pumps, tubes, jars).
- Designing secondary cartons, shippers, sleeves, and labels aligned with global brand standards and regulatory requirements.
- Leading the creation of physical kits and sets across wholesale and DTC channels, ensuring durability, premium experience, and cohesive storytelling.
- Reviewing production samples, proofs, and prototypes, ensuring accuracy and color fidelity.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Development, Regulatory, Operations, and Marketing to ensure feasibility and alignment.
- Incorporating sustainability principles into material choices and structural solutions.
- Utilizing 3D tools to visualize packaging concepts and validate structure prior to production.
- Mentoring and directing two team members: A Retail Graphic Designer and Senior Production Artist, ensuring excellence across retail storytelling and global mechanicals.
- Location:
Hybrid; must be based in the Pacific Northwest. This role requires working out of our Seattle, WA office up to 50% of the time. - Hours:
Typical business hours; some flexibility required. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods, review physical packaging samples, and manage screen time.
- A strong online portfolio demonstrating expertise in primary/secondary packaging and physical kit systems.
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in beauty, skincare, or premium consumer goods packaging.
- Expertise in Adobe CC, with strong knowledge of color systems and print production.
- Experience overseeing global mechanical artwork, multilingual layouts, and dieline standardization.
- Ability to manage and inspire direct reports, setting high standards for quality and consistency.
