With offices in Los Angeles and Seattle, the studio’s portfolio features award-winning and widely published residential and commercial projects throughout the U.S. and abroad.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a passion for outstanding design to join our Seattle office.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Professional degree in architecture and professional licensure
• 12-25 years of professional experience
• Advanced proficiency with Revit (required)
• Experience with Enscape, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Creative Suite
• Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills
• Extensive experience in both shell and interior detailing, and deep knowledge of building systems
• Experience with all phases of architectural projects
• Diverse custom residential project experience
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment

Project Managers at SMS collaborate with design leadership and a small in-office architectural team, as well as a variety of external stakeholders. Core skills include leading meetings, defining and tracking deliverables, navigating challenges creatively, and maintaining team focus on the execution of world-class design. Tasking project staff, drafting and reviewing documents, and providing mentorship are also crucially important.

This will be a full-time, hybrid position with hours spent 80% in-office and 20% remote. Office atmosphere is casual with an emphasis on the benefits of in-person collaboration.

This is a salaried position, $125,000 – $150,000 DOE plus a comprehensive benefit package including fully-paid medical and dental insurance and 401k program. Time off includes PTO and paid holidays including winter break and a floating holiday.
