  • Top-tier tools & infrastructure - 95 % Revit workflow, shared file servers, VPN-connected offices, and VoIP communications that let you focus on design instead of IT headaches.
  • Mentorship & growth - formal orientation, shadowing founding principals, and weekly check-ins during your first 90 days set you up for success.
About Our Client

DBI's new client is a 30-year boutique residential practice with three offices and more than 5,000 completed projects. Our repeatable design process, deep builder relationships, and nimble culture have kept us profitable through market cycles.

Your Impact

As our Managing Architect, you will:
  • Provide studio-level leadership in design, project delivery, and operations, ensuring quality and profitability across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
  • Serve as a primary client liaison, guiding projects from feasibility through construction administration while maintaining schedule and budget.
  • Refine studio standards, Revit templates, and QA processes so teams can work faster and smarter.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and, if desired, light business-development efforts.
What We're Looking For
  • Licensed (or imminently licensable) architect with 15 + years of residential experience and strong Revit proficiency.
  • Proven track record leading project teams or an entire studio; comfortable making high-stakes design and code decisions fast.
  • Deep knowledge of zoning, land-use, and building codes; able to perform rapid due diligence for builder clients.
  • Energetic, positive presence who can rally the office and represent Medici at industry events.
  • Developer/builder project background strongly preferred.
